History
1945 The limited partnership company was founded in Zittau. Sand and gravity permanent mould castings have been manufactured for the automotive industry with the start of founding.
1972 The private business was dispossessed and run as government controlled company.
1990 The re-privatising process was started and has been successfully finished in the following years. The modern, highly automated, high pressure die casting process with high degree of automation was introduced.
2007 The production facilities have been extended by 500 square meters and a new high performance and resource efficient shaft melting furnace went on-line.
2011 A 900 t die casting machine was put into operation.
2012 The production area was expanded by 200m². Further areas were created for quality assurance, manufacturing and logistics.
2014 A 560 t die casting machine was put into operation.
2016 We expanded our melting operation by a 4th melting furnace to increase flexibility.
2018 Expension the area of the company by 700 m².
2020 Ritter Leichtmetallguss GmbH join in the majority of the company.
2021 Expension the area of the company by 1700 m².
2021 A 1200 t die casting machine was put into operation.
2023 Ritter Leichtmetallguss GmbH is transformed into Weber Weinstadt GmbH.
